25 ft MacGregor Houseboat on a trailer. “Mr. Shorty” used to be a sailboat but now has a modified short mast is used as a water casita at the dock. It has a retractable keel. This is a low-maintenance place to stay. It sleeps 2 (+ a pup), has a porta-potti, ducted AC, and electrical cables. The interior has an extended bunk and an expanded galley table. There is extensive canvas work to enclose the cockpit and cover the pop-up. There is standing headroom when the pop-up is extended. The cushions are recent and in good condition. Mr Shorty was used several times yearly as a month-long vacation water casita in San Carlos. The accommodations are not fancy but very workable for a simple lifestyle. It is kept in dry storage on its trailer for the rest of the year. The marina tractor will launch and retrieve it and return it to storage. (no need to have a tow vehicle). It has a (new in 2023) electric outboard and battery so the boat can be driven to its slip and back to the haul-out ramp. The trailer may need some work if you plan to tow the boat any distance.
